I am obsessed with graceful degradation, or rather I was obsessed, and am now recovering. I would like to speed up this non-intereest for 2 reasons.
1. the phrase "graceful degradation is really creepy (this is definately why I love it so much).
2. The whole GD scene is sort of fascist and gross.

I have brought back the the Little News. There is no CSS, there is no Java, there is only html, with minimal formatting, at that. So pure... I needed to get that out of my system, I think. I actually really like the browser default look. Do you think I can get away with calling it art?

Does anyone else care about this inane crap? Do you think the new look is nice? I got into the whole graceful degradation thing partially cuz of the icky name, but mostly because the idea of making my information easily acsessible to anyone on any type of browser really appealed to me.

Anyhow, I don't want to carry on this tirade anymore. Any comments or thoughts on this issue would be greatly appreciated.

I have been surfing the 'net (in the most honest, absolute way) for the first time in a while tonite. I had almost forgotten about tig. The only reason I ever use it anymore is to boost my google ranking, because I know they've worked out an agreement to ensure that when my name (yours, too) is typed into a search engine, TakingITGlobal is the place that comes up first.

Lately, I have decided that I do not like that.

Aside from contributing to the pathetic rush I get off of my web-reckognition (there's even an "adult" link now!), I'm not sure I want to be linked that closely with TIG. THe majority of the websites that come up under my name are TIG related. Why does that make me feel weird?

I assume most of you are tech-savvy, but for those of you who don't know, the more links that exist to a website from another, and the more times people click these links, the more likely your website is to come up #1 on a search engine. It doesn't hurt when those links are included on one of googles favoured pages. I think I already mentioned that I am a pathetic fame-addict who glories in the pumped-up hits my website receives from its TIG promotion, but I would like to point it out again.

In other news, for all you girls who miss FINE BOYS, I haven't forgotten, I'm just taking my sweet time. If you know any beautiful young men, 18-25, in the Toronto area, who will pose naked for me to paint them, I would like to paint their portrait. I'm really good, I'll post some pictures soon. It helps if they think they themselves are handsome. I do not promise to sleep with them, because I am trying to find a little something for everyone and that means not all of yous are the something for me (even if I can see how other girls would find you cute).

In conclusion, new Fine Boys out by 2005, any boys who will let me paint them naked are welcome with a third party reccomendation.
